The August 5th primary election in Lockport Township will include competition for several offices.  Two millage propositions related to the Fabius- Park Townships Fire Department will also be on the ballot.

Incumbent Supervisor Marty Barth faces a challenge from Ray Signorello for the Republican nomination for supervisor.

Three candidates – incumbent Paul Bungart and challengers Teresa Sneary and Rhonda Wright – are in the running for the GOP nomination for treasurer.

Incumbent Dannie Bloom and newcomer James Tolfree are seeking the Republican nominations for two trustee positions on the Lockport Township Board.  Joe Nowicki is in the running for a trustee seat as a Democrat.

Wayne Timm is unopposed as he seeks the GOP nomination for another term as clerk.

Lockport Township voters will also decide the fate of two ballot proposals – one to authorize millage for new fire station, the other for a fire protection operation millage.
