Friday (April 24th) will bring “Plant it Party 2009” to downtown Constantine.

Downtown merchants will be open from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and some will be giving away pine trees.

T-shirts featuring a “Be Green – Celebrate Earth Day” logo will be for sale.  The Constantine Public Schools will have Earth Day art work on display.  And the Constantine Garden Club will be displaying flower arrangements.

Cullifer Enterprises will be on hand with recycling bins for newspapers, magazines and cardboard.  Also, Waste Management will participate with the company’s “green” campaign and other fun things for Constantine’s celebration of Earth Day.
