That’s a key point in an article from the December 2009 newsletter from the Project for Public Spaces. It’s one of a series of articles in this edition that is focused on transportation.
Among other things, the article talks about “context sensitive solutions.” I found it to be worthwhile reading with ideas that challenge some “conventional wisdom.”
