The Three Rivers Wildcat football team is in the news these days as Friday night’s state championship game with the Marshall Redhawks draws near – and one of the stories has a rather unique twist.

In the Thanksgiving day edition of the Kalamazoo Gazette, Jef Rietsma reports on the fact that TWO of the great grandsons of an 82-year-old Mendon area woman will be playing in the game at Ford Field in Detroit – one for Three Rivers, the other for Marshall.
