There’s little doubt these are challenging times as we continue to witness and feel the effects of the economic downturn in a variety of ways. As we attempt to deal with this situation, it may be helpful to consider “crowdsourcing” as a way to help weather the storm.
An example of crowdsourcing that’s having a positive impact in the educational arena is donorschoose.org, a website founded by Charles Best that’s described as “an online charity connecting you to a classroom in need.”
