The Lockport Township Board will meet in regular session Monday evening (November 9th).
Listed on the agenda as an item of “New Business” is “City/Township Water for N. Main Properties,” a topic that surfaced during last week’s Three Rivers Commission meeting. In the course of that meeting, the commission authorized City Manager Joe Bippus to pursue an agreement with Lockport Township under which the city would provide water service to properties on the north side of the city.
Bruce Caswell, Republican candidate for the Michigan Senate from the 16th District, is also slated to speak.
The meeting will get underway at 7 p.m. in the Lockport Township Hall at the intersection of South River and Holtom roads.
Editor’s Note: This story was updated at 10:55 a.m. 11-9-09 to reflect the fact that Republican state senatorial candidate Bruce Caswell has been added to the agenda.
