It appears that Judy Gilchrist has won the First District seat on the Three Rivers City Commission by the narrowest of margins – one vote – over George Ramsey.
Unofficial results from Tuesday’s balloting show Gilchrist, a former city commissioner, with 207 votes compared to 206 for Ramsey.
Ramsey has indicated that he will ask for a recount.
In the other contested race, Wendy Shank defeated Jim Everett for the At-Large Commissioner seat – 247 to 153.
Mayor Allen Balog and Third District Commissioner Earl Stark were unopposed in their bids for re-election.
