The Three Rivers Department of Public Services reports that the City has had positive bacteriological sample results from samples drawn on Tuesday (October 27th) for total coliform bacteria.
Subsequent testing showed no e-coli present.
Further testing and re-sampling are being done and those results will be available late Friday.
Starting Wednesday (October 28th), chlorine is being added to the water supply as a precautionary measure and will continue until good samples are confirmed.
