“Dealing with Methamphetamine as a Landlord – Prevention, Contamination & Clean-up” is the theme for a “landlord seminar” in Sturgis Thursday evening (October 29th).
The event will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Sturges-Young Auditorium.
The seminar is sponsored by the St. Joseph County Rental Property Owner’s Association, St. Joseph County Meth Task Force, and the Sturgis Police Department.
A variety of speakers will offer presentations on the following subjects:
• Methamphetamine – In Your Neighborhood
• Legal Update – Contract Language Suggestions, Handling Drug Related Evictions
• ‘ICHAT’ (Internet Criminal History Access Tool) Checks for Criminal Histories
• Insurance Coverage – Am I covered?
• Clean-up Process and Cost Projections
• Rental Property Owner Association of Grand Rapids.
